Nielsen Associates Launches Employee Readiness Program

Hauppauge, NY, August, 2009 - Nielsen Associates, Long Island's leading human resources search and consulting firm since 1988, announces the launch of its Employee Readiness Program. In order to meet the needs of our clients forced to downsize in these economic times, this Program was designed to provide a cost effective outplacement service.

The Employee Readiness Program is a three-part Program which includes addressing the positive show of "good faith" by their former employer, workshops on resume' evaluation and retooling, as well as job search and interviewing techniques. Emphasis is placed on "when," not "if" the candidate will be hired elsewhere. "Outplacement services foster goodwill for a company by providing the support and tools necessary to put displaced employees quickly back into the workforce," states Renee' Nielsen, President of Nielsen Associates. "Our Employee Readiness Program is a cost effective alternative to the larger national outplacement firms. We are there, on site, to meet individually with impacted employees at the time they are downsized, and we immediately begin assisting them during this emotional time of transition."

Nielsen's Employee Readiness Program is being led by Barbara Boschert, Vice President of Nielsen's Human Resources Division. Barbara has 20 years experience working in Corporate Human Resources with significant experience in outplacement, coaching and counseling prior to joining Nielsen Associates in 2005. "Since 2006, we have placed over 75 Human Resource professionals on Long Island. We wanted to continue to add value beyond recruiting while our clients are forced to restructure." states Barbara Boschert.
